Can you guarantee that the flights inside China will use western aircraft, not Russian aircraft?

Yes. It is no problem to guarantee that we will use western aircraft between major cities. After you settle the final date, we can even offer you the flight number and the type of air plane. However, domestic or Russian aircraft will be used on minor routes, usually flying to small cities.

What about airport tax in Hong Kong?

Currently, it is RMB115 Yuan (about HK$110) consisting of airport construction fee and departure tax.

What is the airport tax in China?

There are two kinds of fees in China's airport, domestic and international. When one travel within China, RMB 50 Yuan is levied at all domestic airports known as airport construction fee. When catching a departure flight to leave China, a departure tax of RMB 90 Yuan (about $ 11.00) is charged. All the fees are payable in RMB and in cash only at a special airport tax desk before check-in.

Do we pay the airport departure tax and construction fees in local currency or US$?

All the fees are payable in local currency and in cash only at a special airport tax desk before check in.

What is train travel like in China?

Train travel is a fun, interesting and a comfortable way of moving around China. In China, the accommodation on the train is divided into four categories, namely, soft-sleeper, soft-seat, hard-sleeper and hard-seat. Each compartment has two washrooms at both ends of it. Meals and drinks can be purchased in the train's restaurant carriage.

Although traveling by train appears to be harder than that by airplane, it does offer you more chances to make approaches to all kinds of Chinese people.

What about the Taxi in China?

China enjoys adequate taxi service. In most cities, the taxi tends to be a small local-made car painted in either red or yellow. In large cities, there are luxurious sedans at a higher rate. Taxi fares vary from city to city but they are always clearly marked on the taxi window.

Most taxi drivers do not understand much English, although those in tourist cities are encouraged to learn and speak some simple English. Non-Chinese speaking visitors are advised to have their destinations written down in Chinese and show the address to the cab driver.
