Our forum registration process requires only a valid e-mail address and a unique user ID and password. Providing us with other information is at your option. Please take note that your user name, e-mail address, or other submissions that you make on this site may contain your real name or other personally identifiable information and, as a result, may appear on this site.

We may make changes to this Policy from time to time. We will notify you of substantial changes to this Policy either by posting a prominent announcement on our site and/or by sending a message to the e-mail address you have provided to us that is contained within your user settings.

- To apply for travel permits in certain regions in China (Tibet)

- To correspond with you (Send proposals, itineraries, etc)
- Inform you about new services/tours from China Highlights Travel
All other personal or other information
- Is used to create a "Customer Profile" enabling us to create a trip in China for you that meets your requirements

Credit card information

• This is used to purchase our travel services. On-line payment is not yet available in China because our infrastructure does not meet international standards. We therefore ask that you send your credit card data by fax which we consider a safe method to provide us with the card type, card number, expiration date, card-holder name, billing-address and a photocopy of both sides of the card..
• After the payment has been received this fax will be destroyed (Shredded) to prevent fraudulent use of the data.

Note: You should inform and obtain permission from other individuals who are traveling with you before you pass their personal data on to us!

When you use our "E-mail a friend" service for informing a friend about our web-site, we ask you for your friend`s name and e-mail address. We will then send your friend an invitation to visit our site. We do not store this information for further use.
